Family Guy has got to be one of my all-time favorite television shows. Ever. The weekly fart jokes and crass humor always have me nearly in tears, it’s times when they push the limit that really destroys me.

For example, the opener from a first-season episode that aired the other night on [Adult Swim] totally ruined me. Peter, Chris, and Brian are all on the couch watching T.V.

They’re watching Wheel of Fortune, trying to figure out the phrase…

So at this point I’m thinking, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!”

Finally, a contestant solves the puzzle…

…and whattaya know, my guess would have been completely wrong!

As if I’m not already chuckling hard enough at this point, the scene ends with Peter saying, “Jeez, I can’t believe we missed the phrase ‘MY HAIRY AUNT’”. That one took a second to click…then I was wiping tears from my face.
