IKEA Bookshelf with hidden compartment

Check out this KOOL ikea bookshelf. When you add a special shelf insert, it leaves some space in the back that makes a perfect compartment that you can use to stash stuff in. Being the N3RD that I am, I decided it was the perfect place for a cable modem, router, and TV power supply.

The end result was that I was able to stash a bunch of nerd gear out of sight and there are no visible TV wires. KOOL!

That is cool, untill you have to pull out all that JUNK to get to your router or cable modem to reboot it when that crap blows up. YUP!

Man, that is a pretty cool idea…one of those that when you see it - seems soooo freakin obvious. You wonder why you are only seeing it now.
